Conference Overview

The Manufacturing Supply Chain Officer Summit 2016 which ran up in the end of March in Shanghai got a great success.

This summit, organized by GlobalSCM Group, attracted more than 140 attendees and 15 supply chain speakers to join in this event. The theme of this summit is "Embracing Uncertainty and Adapting to Change", which is aimed to reduce the risk of supply chain.

The summit inaugurated on March 30th with the Conference Chairman, Dr. John Gattorna, who put the spotlight on the redesign of the supply chain. The first day's program also included a large number of educational theme speeches, mainly involved Enhanced Supply Chain Visibility and Collaboration and Big Data Analytics in Supply Chain.

The second day of the conference was mainly around two themes: Sourcing & Supplier Management and Effectively Identifying Risks & Mitigating Disruptions in the Supply Chain.
